I have officially been married for a little over 3 months! I am realizing everyday that marriage is definitely an adventure. When I was little and my dad would get the family lost, he would say, "Its okay! We're just going on a little adventure!" I absolutely hated backtracking, especially on long trips. So, from the backseat, I would always whine, "But Dad, I hate little adventures." And from the moment we were started the "Adventure" to the time we got back on track to our destination, my dad would always point out random things that "we would never have gotten the chance to see had we not gone on our little adventure." Don't tell my dad, but every time I think about that it always brings a smile to my face. Now I catch myself telling my husband, Andrew, don't worry...we're just going on a little adventure!
That's what inspired me to start this blog. A place where I can share our adventure. And hopefully several new wives out there will be able to relate and share their adventures as well. It is also my hope that women well into there marriage adventures will be able to share their wisdom with me. I look forward to sharing my stories and hearing yours as well!
